I’m very pleased to have launched the new F.I.R.E. Consultancy website today - a project we’ve been working on for a long time designed to showcase the company, its history and its capabilities.

I established the company in 2014 in order to provide high-quality investigation and risk services worldwide and I’m proud of all our achievements so far - but there’s so much more to F.I.R.E. Consultancy we want to tell the world about - and now we can.

Our company values

At the heart of our company are the values the business is committed to; Respect for those we work with, developing Trust throughout the relationship and taking Care in the high-quality, peer reviewed work we supply are all essential to the work we do.

We’re also extremely passionate about Betterment: F.I.R.E. Consultancy wants to leave the world better than when we found it. We’re committed to industry education, supporting worthy charitable causes and training the fire safety professionals of the future.

A learning resource

The launch of our new site is accompanied by the re-launch of our ‘Lessons Archive’ - a database of more than 100 historical case studies of serious fire incidents that have contributed to shaping the industry.

We aim to provide an overview of how these incidents occurred and, crucially, how each of the lessons learnt can help prevent recurrences.

Plans for the future

Education and development has always been important to me. I’ve hosted numerous Fire Related Educational Development (FRED) talks aimed to provide detailed understanding through discussion and experiments. These talks are accredited with the Engineering Council through the IFE’s Continuous Professional Development (CPD) hours.

As part of the new website we’ll be re-launching our new FRED platform very soon.

In addition to FRED we’ll also be launching:

• Young Engineering Scientist (YES) Journal
• The Fire Door Furniture Company
• Fire Safety Engineering training at our offices
• Bespoke developed software designed to assist the Responsible Person with their undertakings
